I used his non-rare for many objectives and i really liked that one already. This Future Star Card makes him a Top class option for La Liga. Lunin's saving style is different to any other GK i used yet, he has nice height and still moves very acrobatic. The saves-with-foot trait is a huge plus, you feel it in game. The only negative i have is that he isn't as good in catching the ball as you might hope with 87 handling. For me, he is a great on-the-line and 1v1 GK with a unique style.
Before he was released,i had van der sar baby in goal because i needed one link to my varane.when lunins future stars card was released i bought it straight away because 1-im a real Madrid fan 2-his traits look decent 3-he was pretty cheap.so i benched my van der sar for 8 games to try him out in WL.He was amazing!he had 5 clean sheets (i won 7 out of 8 matches) and in one of his clean sheets,he had 14 saves!the rushing out of goal and save with feet trait is just too OP,lunin just couldnt concede, everytime, save after save after save.
When I saw this card I didn't think much of it but I wanted to try a new team and I used him in it and I was very surprised. He felt much better than any other keeper Ive used and hes been much help even with my shitty form. (The stats rating below will be based of the keeper card; Pace=Diving, Shooting=Handling, etc).
Traits: His traits of Saves with feet and rushes our of goal are very unique and are quite meta considering how powerful keepers are with these traits ( Such as Pope, Neur, De gea, and ederson)
Height: Hes 6'4" but he feels much taller in game in 1v1's he has the type of thing Neuer and Alison with the giant arm that stops chips.
He actually saves some dumb goals and tries sometimes to save near post shots
Diving: He sometimes feels slow when getting on the ground but this has only happened a couple times.
Links: Since his nation Isnt common its kinda hard to link but luckily I had Varane and Mendy.
Hi guys here I am again. It is my second review after Baby Raul. Sorry about my English, I'm from Spain and this is the average level of English, so respect.
Jokes stand up, it was an afternoon in February the Famous EA event called Good young players in-game with whom we can earn money, I mean future stars had just come out so I entered FUTBIN to see prices and stats. After all this, I went to open my competition rewards, which I had saved from the day before. In the transferable, as always nothing came out (small parenthesis to tell EA that let's see if a top player puts me in a transferable pack or something, thanks :)) then I started to open the rivals packs, and after some packs with shit inside, it was a walkout 4, the future star colors came out and of course, the flag of Ukraine, a great country by the way.
At that moment I decided to put Lunin on my squad for Fut Champions. In the first games I was not very convinced that Lunin could be a good goalkeeper. In those first matches he had no opportunity to show off, but. The following games began to get complicated, to the point where Lunin appeared, which reflexes that stopped as he covered the goal, to the point that on penalties he became intimidating, and his serve, there is his serve, some incredible balls up , very well adjusted. A topic I wanted to ask, do you dribble with the goalkeeper? Because I do, and Lunin does some excellent shooting feints.
With this last appreciation, I recommend you buy this great goalkeeper, for my taste better than Pope and much better than Courtois. Until another review my homies.
Needing a new goalkeeper for my weekend league I decided to use Lunin. For his price rn he is a beast! Got me my first Elite 3 getting max 3 goals per match.
I used this guy for about three weeks and he was terrible. His diving felt very slow and didn't make basic saves that you would expect a keeper to make. His positioning was also very bad, and his handling was terrible. He had an average game rating of 5.1 and only make 2-3 saves a game for me. I have since switched to ter stegen and he is a thousand times better.
Okay, so I was so fed up of having Oblak not making any saves in a game and everyone else's pope being insane so I got this guy and ehm, well he is terrible my skill rating is 2100+ and aw I'm getting PTSD just thinking about having him in goals, has been put in the bin and I'm buying courtous until I can afford Van De Sar as it seems he is the only thing even remotely close to nick pope u can get.
Saves about 1 in 100 shots with his feet due to his traits
saves absolutely nothing, he is a literal POTATO no arms, no legs just a body if ur opponent aims directly at him he might still not save it
Also I never knew kicking could be so bad, his potato "legs" can't pass the ball to a player on my team further than 15 metres away.
Lunin has 8 Arms! Maybe he comes from Pripyat but he is realy good. He doesnt cost much coins and isnt a noob keeper like Nick Pope. I liked him but there is one Contra: On the PS4 he was Trash! I am Playing on PS5 but before i had this console, i played on the Playstation 4. On the PS5 he is a God. On the PS4 he was the worst of the worst.
I have never written a review about a player ever. My experience with this card has enraged me so much that I needed to warn others about this so that no one feels the same way I do.
I was so happy when I packed him because of links to my untradeable Varane. He allowed me to sell my Oblak and upgrade my midfield from Goretzka to a cheap Icon. This ultimately was the worst decision I could have made. I lost money buying an icon because I had to turn around and re-buy a keeper that wasn't standing in dry cement. I had 1-2 flashes where I though that he was going to turn it around, but they were quickly dashed when I would lose games 7-1 and 5-0. I run 433 in game and my RTTF Varane and Kounde have never been an issue in my team and Oblak was only letting half the goals into the net that this Lunin was. I'm not leaving this man with no help, but he did not impress me in any game that I have played. Avoid it at all costs. Mine will be washed through an SBC soon.
I'll start by stating I know keepers are inconsistent. I wanted to try this guy instead of Courtois and he did well a couple games. However if I play a game of champs where my keeper makes 0 saves and allowing 6 goals, while his Courtois makes 10 saves and allows 3 goals, I think it paints a pretty clear picture. The goals I conceded were not hard to save either. He allowed 2 weird long shot volleys from outside or just inside the box from toty honorable mention Grealish.
Another game I played after I sold this guy and replaced him with Courtois was against Oblak. Oblak made 15 saves, some of them incredible, won MOTM and won my opponent his game.
A couple games did go well with him making a couple decent saves after I rushed out manually with him, but other than that he was definitively inferior to other La Liga keepers.
I used a basic chem style FYI
Seem to do well in 1v1 situations where you rush out with him.
Card design looks cool
Allows too many ridiculous goals that should normally be saved.
Doesn't make you feel confident when going up to grab crosses, seems to jump an inch or something seems weird
