This card of Ederson is good but he isn't the best goalkeeper in the game. It has a good quality-price ratio.

I packed this guy a while back and was stoked to try him thinking he would be absolutely solid based on his stats. I have to say I tried him with a few different chem styles including basic and no matter what I tried he just seemed to be out of position all the time and let in SO MANY GOALS for me. I had to get rid as he was sabotaging my whole team so I chucked him into an SBC. I am so surprised at the good reviews for him and I have to say even when I play against him he seems so easy to score past. I would not recommend using him. His rating and stats are a lie. The only good attributes are his speed off the line and kicking although sometimes his kicking is too good that it goes waaaayy past the striker on the counter attack.
All in all I'd save your coins and get Gold Pope for a fraction of the cost.

No one comes even near this guys level of goalkeeping.on FIFA 21. He is the perfect goalkeeper - and 1 thing I definitely noticed is how fast he is. He is amazing for links being from the prem and being Brazillian. He is the best at everything you could ever want in a gk, 98 diving and 95 handling are the only 2 stats off 99 (w/ basic), and I don't even notice that they aren't. His speed is the highest of any gk on fifa 21 by a mile. Don't be sad if u only got him in wl rewards, just be sad if you're playing him - he is amazing.

Literally just the fact he isn't worth it from the Prem TOTS pack.
I tried so hard to give him a chance, I bought him for my all PL team and I thought he would be great. Time and time again, he let me down.
In important games, he would just flop and save NOTHING. I'm talking literally nothing. He would just do the classic keeper diving animation as if he's close to the ball, not the case. He could not save a single chip in the 121 games I played with him. He saved some brilliant shots but let in some of the most simple. I don't understand it. Anyways, I sold him and moved on to Oblak and tried to make my team revolve around him. I can confidently say Oblak is much better, can't get chipped nearly as easily. I think for 100k, you should go with IF Alisson or Oblak if you can fit him in your team.

After packing him from a premium PL upgrade I was excited to try him out over my 89 Areola, but I was unfortunately quite disappointed. His height unfortunately causes him to concede a lot of goals that pope or areola would get their hands to. He does save the occasional chip shot, but he will usually dive rather hopelessly. His speed does make up for this however since he can prevent a lot of one on ones by just getting to the ball before the striker. His really good positioning also aids him in doing this. His kicking is also another positive and he will rarely miss a pass (as well as this you can get the occasional over the top through ball assist with him). And finally, he does have reasonably good traits since the rush out of goal will help him save more one on ones, and the comes for crosses will help with corners and crosses. He is only missing the saves with feet trait. However considering his price, I think there are better value for money goalkeepers fin the prem such as pope or areola.

Just no. He simply lets in everything, the amount of chip shots and 1v1s he concedes is ridiculous. I bought him for 90k and i can honestly say gold Pope is better. Do not buy.

Thought I'd give Ederson a try since I got him in a red pick... oh my what a mistake. The guy is top tier dogwater and up there with Steve as the worst keeper in the game. Please do yourself a favour and chuck him in an SBC. Use gold Areola or Vaclik on 2 chem if need be.
- 75 speed - he can get off the line quickly and occasionally get to a through ball before an attacker.
- Your opponents will be fooled by his stats so you'll probably match up against him and have a field day.
- Mans is 6'2 but looks ant-sized in-game.
- Can't save a chip shot to save his life. He dives under the ball like he's playing limbo.
For what it's worth, I'm sure if you use Nick Pope or Areola you're looking at a big upgrade. I've used Alisson, Handanovic's IFs Oblak RTTF and Courtois IF to date and this card matches up with all of them being the same, consistent enough, they make some saves they let some goals in. I really thought when I packed Ederson that this would be near perfect as his stats go all the way to 11!
The reality is that for a 94 rated card he's really not special. The only card I've used who is is Lev Yashin's 91 card, do yourself a favour and get the extra 110k together and buy him instead!
Kicking! Play a slightly over-hit backpass to him and he's under pressure? Don't worry about it, he's quick enough to get that pass off to LB/LW etc and it's bang on the money every time.
Regular shots - he's an 8/10 shot stopper and if you're in <Div 4 you're not going to lose any games because of him.
Speed, I had him as a sweeper keeper and he does have a great turn of pace, only once did this get him into trouble. Be careful if you're not used to having sweeper keeper as he has the rushes out trait.
He's not Lev Yashin. This is hard to describe if you've not had the 40 year old looking man between the sticks. He makes crazy saves, and I'm talking ridiculous!
He's just not special, and although he's not break the bank expensive, he's not worth the coins you'll spend on him. You will still have the frustrations of thinking "how has that gone in" or how have I faced 3 shots on goal and conceded 3 goals.
I got him in an 84+ pack and was ecstatic. Put him in my squad for the weekend league but man was I disappointed. For a 94 keeper with these stats, I expected much better, the number of corners I conceived in this WL was abnormal, every header was going in. In 1 on 1 situations, he was invisible. I had to put back 92 Schmeichel who was doing fine for me. The only positive I could say for Ederson is his speed, you can really feel it while rushing out for through balls and a couple of fingertip saves on finesse shots other than that underwhelming performance.

I packed him and I thought yes he will be perfect for my team and he will save everything, how wrong I was. first couple of games he let the stupidest goals in and the chip shots that he was conceding were unbelievable. don't let the rush out of goal trait deceive you either as he is the worst keeper to have this trait than any other keepers . before I had packed him I had TOTS Areola and he was so much better. This disappointed me so much as I was very hopeful for this card and thought that he would take my team to the next level. honestly if you are considering buying this card I personally would rather buy Toby Savin and that's not even a joke. In conclusion he is not worth his value on the transfer market at all, if you are considering buying this card please don't it will be a huge waist of your coins just buy TOTS Areola or any other keeper that fits your team. PS if you do pack him use him as fodder for a prime icon moments or wait until another SBC that requires a high rated team comes out and use him there as in an SBC is his best position.
