Quick review. Got Rank 2 with him at LW. 29 goals and 7 assists in 14 games (gave away the last game). I put an Engine on him. He feels faster than his TOTY card even though he has -1 pace. He has Rapid+ paired with Quick Step, which makes him noticeably faster. Even if he's not super fast like Mbappe, being 6'2 and having high physical helped him get away from defenders with ease. I didn't feel any difference at all with his Dribbling, Passing, or Physical compared to his TOTY. 5 star weak foot is a game changer. His finesse shots are amazing and helped me clutch up some important wins.

His fut birthday card was only 1-1.5m cheaper than the toty card depending on where you look at the price history graph. His toty was higher rated than his current toty. It had 11 more physical than his fut birthday at the time. This flashback is much closer to this toty and has superior playstyles.

5* weak foot solves "can't turn" since you don't have to turn and force the shot/pass with his stronger foot. The dribbling might be formatted differently if it's a flashback of his previous fut birthday card. Most likely higher Agility, Balance and Dribbling but less Ball Control, Reactions and Composure.

Go ahead and share your opinion on why you think the TOTY is more worth it than the flashback sbc. You won't because you know neither card is going to get you more than 6 wins in champs or out of Division 3. You're not good enough to properly debate why the TOTY is better or understand what playstyles are superior, unlike me, who's been in Division 1/Elite in rivals every year since FIFA 19 and always finishing Elite/Rank 3-1 in fut champs.

You won't feel any difference between 90 and 91 pace or a difference between 90 and 92 dribbling. You will feel a difference with a 5* weak foot though. Shooting stat doesn't matter for Ronaldo either. I used gold Ronaldo cards in previous FIFA games where he only had 91-93 shooting while using an Engine and never felt any difference with his shooting on his other cards. Power shot is only good for power shot cancels, it's a useless playstyle unless you're trying to mess around and score bangers from outside the box. You can still do that without the + playstyle.

Lol I packed a dupe tradeable Saliba during TOTY and bought CR7 you shitter. Bought for 4.6 and sold for 4.3m. He's good but the flashback has superior playstyles and is more worth in the long run for future evos. You can sell the TOTY and have over a mill + left in coins after buying all the fodder. Power Shot and Acrobatic+ are a waste of two playstyle+. I was expecting him to be flashback to his younger days at LW and not of his previous FUT birthday card but this is still an auto complete.

Official card stats: Pace: 90 Shooting: 93 Passing: 85 Dribbling: 90 Physical: 87 Still worth selling the TOTY for this card. Rapid & Finesse Shot > Quick Step & Power Shot. 93 rated so he'll fit into evos much sooner than his TOTY card will. 5* 5* as well.

The flashback will be better than this card as long as it has higher agility/balance. That's the only issue with Ronaldo's cards. Lower rated which is good for future evos and he'll have room for a third and forth playstyle+. Acrobatic+ is a waste on the TOTY. You could argue power shot+ isn't that great either. He'll most likely have LM/LW so expect passing playstyles. I owned the TOTY and I moved him to LW because it felt like a waste having him at ST when he was cooking people on the wing in his prime. His TOTY wasn't good enough at LW though. No Inside Forward++ is noticeable.

- Lower shooting that can easily be fixed with a chem style. His shooting feels the same from 90-96 imo after trying out all of his cards. All he needs is a dribbling and pace boost. The agility and balance on his TOTY card is really low if you compare them to his TOTY last year so his flashback will get a huge boost.

Should I sell this card if I only play him at LW? I imagine his flashback will be a LW card with much better dribbling stats.

What's the best way to use this card? I use him in a 41212(2) with the Advanced Forward + role and he doesn't seem to do much for me. He has good stats and costs 700k so it doesn't feel right to put him on the bench.
