UK on XBOX - I already own FC 25 and have been playing it online but my game pass ran out - I bought an XBOX Game Pass Core and applied the code and it worked for one day and is now asking me to buy XBOX Game Pass again... Is my game just bugging or do I need to buy something else to play online again? Any help would be much appreciated

Basically I have been playing online (Rivals, Champs, etc.) since pretty much October last year using XBOX Live Gold, but then they changed their way to play online, so converted what I had left into XBOX Game Pass Ultimate. Then this has just run out. So I purchased an XBOX Game Pass Core as this enables playing online multiplayer (e.g. Rivals and Champs) and I already own a copy of EA FC 25 (i.e. not accessing the game through EA Play or a game pass). But this still doesn't work. Do I need ti purchase anything else for it to work?

I have an evo of Bailly which is different but he feels very OP without the 99 defending, so definitely use him. Obviously haven't used Theo but I'd maybe say him over TOTS Rudiger, who I've used but for me keeps getting beat for some reason over my other evos at CB
