Same here. For the RTTF, I packed Vitiniha, a day later the SBC came out. I packed Dembele while I have his TOTS (the RTTF might be better, but I would like a different player), and now I packed him as well while already completed the Futtie SBC. I also got an option for VDV in the pick, but luckily Zaire Emery was in there as well. It's so annoying, but we just keep trying for the others.

I have it the opposite. I used him for something then forgot to swap him out again when I went into Rivals as he didn't stop a single shot.

I hoped to pack him, but I get the same players over and over again (Lampard, Viali, Scholes etc), I even got a duplicate Garrincha, but this guy just won't pop up (he is cheap, but I would like to have my players first owner).

This guy is extinct, and I got him duplicate from the player pick, but I can't get Reece James, Hakimi or Barcola RTTF.

All these RTTF cards were only in packs for 2 days. Now you can get them from player picks, but first of all, together with Shapeshifters, so even if you get RTTF cards, it's usually the lower tier players and all the player picks are untradable so there won't be more on the market.

I am only looking into it now, but even though he is really smooth, I sometimes feel he lacks som heigth/physicality as a ST and indeed, defending not good enough on CAM. As a ST, he makes good runs, and I can sometimes dribble my way through the defense, but as a winger indeed some more versatility. And I like to play players at their original position at this point as I'm trying to make some PnP or other themed teams. Glad it works out with his stats and playstyles.

You will probably pack another version after you complete this EVO. I couldn't pack a Mbappe for my life, once I put my gold Mbappe in the second evo (because I couldn't pack him) I got his TOTY.

I want to make a team with family members, so Theo/Lucas Hernandez, Lilian Thuram with his two sons, got an EVO TOTS Kluivert and Futties Kluivert, then from the season pass the Bellingham brothers and then Lauren/Reece James etc.

I played his base card and he intercepts more than all the midfielders that did have intercept +.

I will also use him but then for my family team (just need Reece James to have a complete team).

I will try him out. I made a team with RTTF players (Spurs, Chelsea and PSG) so I try a couple of games with that team, and play him as RW. Where did you play him? I liked the TOTS version better as striker but I have Jonhson from Spurs and he was so good this weekend (21 goals in 12 games).

I tried to pack some of the PSG cards, hoping for Hakimi (or Doue for the dynamic image), and then I got him. Looks nice, but I also got his TOTS version already.

I played him as ST (first in 2 ST formation then as lone ST). I played 12 games with him (couple Div 3 games and WL) and he scored 21 goals.

It's not about excuses. I know I'm not really good, I would be the first one to admit that. I'm in Div 3 and only about 8 wins in the WL. So I'm okay with loosing, but sometimes I play with a player and he is insanely good, dominates each game, and the next day he is invisible. Does that mean I'm a good player one day and a bad player the next day, or maybe there is some inconsistency? But for real to answer the original question of the other person, I wasn't a big fan of Carlos Alberto on the RB position. Tried him out and went back to Thuram.

It really doesn't matter. With the bad servers, heavy scripting and inconsistency it really doesn't matter who you play. Some attackers with 40 defending are better in intercepting the ball than top tier defenders with intercept +. Bad strikers score from impossible angles while strikers with low driven plus can't make a goal for their life. Jist go for players you like.

I have been grinding the menus the whole week to pack him. After the first match I play to Evo a different version of him, I pack him. He is tradable so I might sell him. The playstyles are not the best on this one.

It's not your typical meta player, so won't go for much. Especially now the price doesn't really say if the card is good, because some people just won't try out other cards than Mbappe, Gullit, Vieira, R9 etc.

I agree that he is pretty smooth. I only played a couple of games with him, and put him as ST. He was really agile in the box and was able to create some space.

How toxic can people be. You give away wins in the friendly cup so that we both can achieve the goals, and this guy is sweating like crazy.

Totally agree. There is only two I didn't get, which are van Dijk and Mbappe. But since I never packed Mbappe I rather have a new batch than have the same 20 duplicates over and over again.

If you put a hawk on him he will also have 99 shooting (only long shots will be 98).

With the infinite amount of fodder, and if you want to spend time on it, go to some of the player SBC's so you get tradable packs.

I try to make a RTTF team (combined, otherwise it will take too long). I got him, Vicario and Jorgensen, so goalies enough, now I need some field players to finish the squad. Really hope to pack Hakimi as he doesn't get a lot of promo cards for some reason.

In this case it would be +1. When they do a 99 OVR upgrade, they increase every stat with the amount the OVR is increased. So her stats will be +1, some 97 rated cards will get +2 when they go up to 99.

If Spain wins the tournament she will be 99.

I think that most got the other evo from the cup (I believe) which was the position change with Low Driven + (which he would then have instead if pinged pass +).

You always see everyone complaining about the game, and a week later everyone is talking about an evo they got for preordering the new game.... and then they start complaining again. The cycle continues.

The only thing that is much better is quick step + instead of the base playstyle. If you apply chemstyles, it would be about the same stats.

It's not so much about the saving, but more that I want players first owner. Also with the grind going on, it's nicer to pack someone than simply buying the players for me.

I have that with Mbappe. Got a dupe R10 now, got US, Fantasy, TOTS and Futties Lamine Yamal, got TOTY Pele as well, got some dupes Neymar, but I haven't packed any Mbappe cards (even his gold card I had to buy).

Yeah, I was lucky to get FUT Birthday Vieira, but a lot of the icons are in packs now, which makes it less special I guess. I got like 3 94 Matthäus in my SBC storage after using some already in a SBC.

Normally I wouldn't do this, as I would surely get Barnes, Kluivert and Figo who I already packed about 20x each last week, but as my SBC storage was full even after player SBCs (including Neto) I decided to this. Got one dupe Charlton and FUT Birthday Vieira, so not too bad. Probably continue to hopefully pack a Maldini to make a squad of legends.

He still keeps his price, but I would say a lot is rarity. He is not in packs, but you also can't get him from the picks as the icon picks are 94+. I would like to use him for my Dutch team, and even though I have the coins, I prefer to use first owner cards only, but with him I feel like I have no choice now (unless they put him back in packs on Friday).

I see what you did there. But yes, he looks insane. I was thinking of putting this evo on Xavi DC, as his stats will be boosted more and then put Vieira in a different evo, but let's see if something is coming out the coming days before the evo expires.

What pick was it? I had some fan favourite picks where Dumfries was included (but I did the SBC at the time he came out) but haven't seen him yet.

Every time there was an evo for him, I saw comments like this. But I only have seen him in a couple of Rush matches. Maybe in other divisions he is there, but I have never faced him in div 2-3 and WL.

If you use him as a more b2b midfielder or you don't have anyone you want to put it the CYOA evo, you can definitely put Matuidi in the CYOA evo with RM++.

I haven't done this Evo yet, but I would say Tchouameni as he is bigger. Vitinha and Xavi are both small, less defensive playstyles so I would go for a bigger more defensive one next to Vitinha, but it depends on how you play of course.

No one,but some people come here to see some reviews on who to play (if they don't have the time to test it out themselves), so they know that some like him and some don't. It's called helping each other.

He has been pretty good for me so far as cdm. Haven't tried him as CB as I play Saliba and Stam (with VDV as back up).

Looks also decent in the attack, At this point I had so much fodder left after completing Dalglish, Stam and Bruno that I still started the SBC of the Futtie card.

He does miss the shooting playstyles, but other than that he looks great. As I put him in this one already, I might use your combination for 95 Kane (I can't pack his TOTS and I want to avoid buying players at this point with the grind).

I kind of did him for the anticipate, because I think that is more relevant, but I kind of regret putting him in this now as well. His stat boosts is only +1 for speed and dribbling, so I could have put the anticipate + on him and use this evo for someone else. But it might be the boost that makes him a bit better.

Especially since you don't have any shooting playstyles, that's what is sometimes missing from the Fermin fantasy card as well.

Right now it's nice to use evos for your favourite players, completing past and present teams etc.

I had the feeling yesterday I would get him, and the first two futtie cards tonight were indeed him. As a Dutch guy, not too bad. Last week my very first futtie was Kluivert (hope there will be a Cruyf and the pattern stays).

I took him. I had the TOTS HM Doue, but I didn't have any version of Neto. Not sure to evo him now with the current evos or maybe wait a couple of days to see what is coming out.

What formation do you use? I used him in a 41212, and it was indeed the physicality that let him down for me.

This week I packed Vitinha (one day before the release of the Futtie SBC) and he is quite good, just hard to get full chemistry on him. I was hoping to pack maybe a Joao Neves to go besides him. Then I packed him, the right promo, the right club, the right nation, just to the right player unfortunately. But I might try him out anyway.

I also tried him as CDM (a nice change from the standard Vanja) and he was so good. He intercepted so much.

I just packed his RTTF card a night before this SBC came out. That card is also really good with good ball control of course, and actually good presence in the midfield. I might skip this SBC though, as I'm not sure how much better this card would be than his RTTF card (and keep some fodder for upcoming SBC's).

I tried the "base" card and I have to say I was underwhelmed. With 99 passing and incisive + I really expected more of him. It might be the physicality, but he was kind of invisible (and that was before futties and other better cards).

Sometimes the downvotes are indeed because of the price/quality ratio. But also, some people are only looking for top meta cards, so when it doesn't have the perfect playstyles they say it's bad and downvote it, but it could still work out for you.

All my guarantee packs and picks have been duplicates so far (not because I packed all the futties, but because I got the same 4 ones all the time). Luckily I got him in a different pack, and he has been really good for me as b2b CM.

I play him as a b2b CM, and he has been really good. Great runs forward into the box and great recovery speed of course.

I played him CB for the most part with only the first evo, and he has been really good.

I wish one of them was Joao Neves though, especially with this SBC out. But I might skip on this one as he is pretty expensive (although he looks pretty sick).

I played TOTS McTominay as CM with a CDM behind him. He might be suitable for the same role, although he lacks the height that McTominay has, but he has great dribbling stats to compensate.

One of the first TOTS I packed was Vitinha, yesterday I packed the RTTF, and now this SBC. Collect all the Vitinhas.

If you play him as CB (do you play with 5 at the back) I would put a Anchor on him to make him Mostly Lengthy and max out defense, speed and physicality. The passing stats would still be good enough for a CB and you don't really need increased shooting.

I feel mister clean sheet is a waste for him. You boost the defense, but it's not perfect, and the speed is not maxed out. Then you put a shadow chemstyle on him and then you have the same stats as putting a shadow on this evo, but with worse dribbling stats.

I got him when he was released, and he was good, but at that time quite hard to link for chemistry, not too special. If you do a Chelsea or Argentina squad or some past and present, he is still nice, but especially now nothing special and many better players out there.

I think the finishing and the Physicality would let this card down a bit. It looks nice, but with all the content out there might be better options. If you really want to play a Dembele but you don't have the coins or don't want to spend that amount of coins on the other Dembele cards, then go for it, but if you want to have the meta, you might want some more physicality.

I got him in the 88 exchange pack. It takes a while but eventually you might end up with something. Excited to try him out.

Usually the Futties icons are in the back of the packs for some reason. Unfortunately I only found a Figo and Barnes there (for like the 15th time).

Yeah, I literally completed this SBC to make some room in my storage after doing some upgrade packs. Like you don't even notice you completed this SBC.

If I do this one I might put Powerhouse on him to boost the defense and passing (I play him on the midfield).

Always check when SBCs expire. The icon pick expired yesterday.

I got a soft ban in the web app, then played some games and it was still there.

I have her on LB in the WL and she is pretty good. Sometimes she is out of position but somehow she has a good recovery speed and catches up. Also as you mentioned, great in tackling and I don't really notice the lack of height too much.

I put Vanja on midfield, but I play Pavard evo in defense. Not as tall, but so good and agile. I want to try Toure out, but I just like Pavard and VDV.

Just packed him but the servers are so bad that I can't even try him out properly. I can start a dribble, then it pauses and then I fast forward to a kick off because my opponent scored.

People think that of a player is in all their packs it can't be a good player. Too bad, some can surprise you and you can actually have some fun.

I hoped to get him during Shapeshifters. Now I have him in the player pick with Karchaoui (98). Not sure to pick him or Karchaoui.

It wasn't too bad for me on Friday. Last season it took me four weeks to go from 4 to 3, now I made it in one evening. Maybe unlucky with matchmaking. (Haven't played anymore after promotion though).

I also got her from saving packs. During Shapeshifters I didn't get any icons and hardly heroes, now I got her Sasic, Prinz, Figo, Barnes and Kluivert but only one regular futtie (Thuram). But she looks pretty nice with the stats and playstyles might try her out.

Him as a CM playmaker (like he actually played in real life) and he is good. He will get the ball anywhere you want to. If you like all the meta stuff and abuse all the mechanics with speed boosts, trivellas, toxic skill moves etc he is not the guy. If you like to play actual football, have a nice build up play, and actually make it look like a football game again he is really good.

Also I feel like yesterday's Evo didn't really do anything for him as the stat boosts were already there with Chem styles.

I have been saving packs all the time to just get gold cards. I just try to enjoy and play with players I like instead of hunting for the meta all the time.

I packed him yesterday, and just like every Gk in the game, he makes some near impossible saves but let's really easy balls go through.

I haven't tried him out now, but I remember from last year he was so good. I missed out on the GOTG Icon, but I did an Evo on the Goloza icon, not the best stats, not the best PS+ even, but still so good.

Some Evo's look insane, until you actually look at the boosts (especially now, with stats almost maxed out with Chem styles anyway). There are so many options for this Evo, that might need the boosts a bit more.
