How can i play him in a 4-2-2-2? I only know to play 4-2-2-2, i tried 4-2-3-1 & 4-2-1-3 as well as 4-4-1-1 but somehow cannot defend in them. Can someone confirm if he loses chem if i change the formation in game of its better to bring him as an impact sub

No. He will get all the stats based on his 96 rating. Those stats which are already better than his 96 rated card won't change. Example: Built different giving him 94 in Def which is better than his 96 rated so that won't improve but the rest like Pace etc would see further improvement.
