We’re less than 2 months away from being able to play EA Sports FC 24 and we’ve still got plenty of predictions to run through and today we’re looking at Attacking Midfielders. Let us know if you think there’s anyone we’ve missed out!

#15 - Dani Olmo - 82 OVR - RB Leipzig

FIFA 23 Rating - 82

Dani Olmo played well for Leipzig last season but unfortunately those minutes were very limited due to injury.

The Spaniard managed 2 goals and 5 assists in the league but played less than 1,300 minutes.

We’ve kept him at an 82 but if he stays fit we’re sure we’ll see some much deserved performance based special cards from Olmo next year!

#14 - Steven Berghuis - 82 OVR - Ajax

FIFA 23 Rating - 82

Ajax had a very disappointing 2022/23 and only managed a 3rd place finish, behind PSV and Feyenoord.

The former Watford man both scored and assisted 9 goals this season but compared to others in the league (Xavi Simons with 19 goals and 9 assists), these numbers aren’t as impressive as they seem.

We’ve played it safe and kept Berghuis at an 82 purely for the performance of Ajax this season and wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up at an 83.

#13 - Dimitri Payet - 83 OVR - Free Agent

FIFA 23 Rating - 82

The Marseille legend has been terrorising our defences all year, whether it be his Winter Wildcard or TOTS Moments card and will hopefully be in for an upgrade next year.

Payet led Marseille to a 3rd place finish in Ligue 1 and secured a spot in the Champions League qualifying round.

Dimi Payet is currently a free agent so we may not even see him next year but if we do we think he’ll be given a +1.

#12 - Kai Havertz - 83 OVR - Arsenal

FIFA 23 Rating - 84

Kai made the switch over from West London to North as he joined the Gunners this summer for £65m after a relatively disappointing season with Chelsea.

We’ve had to downgrade Havertz purely for the state Chelsea were in last season, 12th place finish means an obvious -1 at the least.

#11 - Anderson Talisca - 83 OVR - Al Nassr

FIFA 23 Rating - 82

If you’d have told Anderson Talisca a year ago that he’d be playing with Ronaldo and potentially against Mbappe then he’d have laughed in your face.

The Brazilian has been in the Saudi League since 2021 and has been Al Nassr’s star player.

Last season he scored 20 goals in 23 games which is more than deserving of a +1 upgrade for EA FC.

#10 - Mason Mount - 83 OVR - Manchester United

FIFA 23 Rating - 84

Another former 84 rated Chelsea CAM makes our Top 15 in Mason Mount and another who will be downgraded heading into EA FC.

Alongside Chelsea having a poor season, Mount only registered 5 goal contributions so just like Havertz, his rating is only going one way.

He may have joined Manchester United but after last season we don’t even think the big transfer tax will help increase his rating.

#9 - Alejandro Gomez - 83 OVR - Sevilla

FIFA 23 Rating - 84

Sevilla may have won the Europa League yet again this season (who’d have thought) but it was a largely underwhelming season for the Argentine.

Gomez chipped in with just La Liga 1 goal and 1 assist and really hasn’t hit the levels he was doing at Atalanta.

Yet another CAM who we can see dropping from an 84 to an 83.

#8 - Piotr Zielinski - 84 OVR - Napoli

FIFA 23 Rating - 83

Our first 84 rated CAM enters the list and it’s Serie A winner Piotr Zielinski.

We can see almost every Napoli player being given an upgrade after their heroic season, bringing Serie A glory back to Naples.

The Polish international scored 3 and assisted 8 in the league last season so we think he deserves at least a +1

#7 - Marco Reus - 84 OVR - Borussia Dortmund

FIFA 23 Rating - 85

Marco Reus stepped down as Dortmund captain for the foreseeable future after they narrowly missed out on the Bundesliga in 2022/23.

10 goal contributions in the league was a decent return for Reus but as with many players heading into their mid-late 30s we can only see one thing happening.

Unfortunately we’ve downgraded Reus to an 84 but we’ll expect a few Reus promo cards next year even if his base isn’t as usable.

#6 - Lorenzo Pellegrini - 84 OVR - Roma

FIFA 23 Rating - 84

Roma may have fallen short in the Europa League final but Pellegrini still had a decent season.

8 goals and 9 assists from the Italian in all competitions was a very good return but we just can’t quite put him on the same level of those at 85.

#5 - Nabil Fekir - 84 OVR - Real Betis

FIFA 23 Rating - 85

Nabil Fekir played very limited minutes last season due to injury, but to be fair to him when he did play he delivered.

The Frenchman popped up with a goal contribution every 2 matches but unfortunately there were only 20 of these matches.

We’ve decided to downgrade him however as 9 goal contributions across all competitions isn’t a great return compared to others.

#4 - Jamal Musiala - 85 OVR - Bayern Munich

FIFA 23 Rating - 81

Borussia Dortmund pretty much had 2 hands on the Bundesliga trophy last season before Musiala stepped up with seconds remaining to snatch it from them.

The Bayern midfielder had a very impressive season scoring 16 and assisting 16 in all competitions.
We can see a heavy upgrade coming for the German and we’ve gone for a +4 taking him to 85.

#3 - Thomas Muller - 86 OVR - Bayern Munich

FIFA 23 Rating - 87

From one German, Bayern Munich midfielder to another. Thomas Muller enters the list in 3rd place.

Muller had a decent season but nothing compared to Musiala. 16 goal contributions in all competitions is still a very good return but as with Reus, he’s getting that little bit older and can only see a downgrade happening.

#2 - Martin Odegaard - 86 OVR - Arsenal

FIFA 23 Rating - 84

Arsenal may not have ended the season on top as they were hoping but that’s nothing to take away from the season they had.

A 2nd place finish after years outside the top 4 is huge and partially down to this man.

Odegaard scored a whopping 15 goals in the Premier League and contributed another 7 assists. He was the highest scoring midfielder and there were only 6 players in the entire league to score more than him.

A very deserving 86 rated card for Martin in EA FC.

#1 Bruno Fernandes - Manchester United - 87 OVR

FIFA 23 Rating - 86

Another very impressive season from Bruno and one that puts him on top of our CAM ratings list.

14 goals and 15 assists from the Portuguese man is an insane return and one that certainly deserves an upgrade.

He also captained Manchester United to their first trophy since 2017 as they lifted the Carabao Cup earlier this year.

Those are our Top 15 CAM Ratings for EA Sports FC 24, how many do you think we got right and is there anyone missing?
