FC 25 95 TOTS Honourable Mentions Antony Player Review

La Liga Team of the Season is here, and this squad looks absolutely insane. Mbappe, Vini J, Lamine, the list goes on! Then there are the Liga F and Portuguese league players. This week feels like a really good week to be opening packs with the amount of top tier players available.

The SBC for today is a man who has gone from Zero to Hero this past year, and it is a Team of the Season Honorable Mentions Antony item. 

Since leaving Manchester for Spain, he has absolutely thrived at Real Betis so it’s only fair this guy has some form of TOTS item. With no previous special cards to compare to, this item has had a +18 overall boost with the Finesse, Rapid, and Incisive Pass playstyles added. Likewise, he’s had a huge weak foot boost from 1* to 4*.

Stat-wise wise he’s had +13 pace, +22 Shooting, +19 Passing, +17 Dribbling all the way up to 99. As well as +15 to his physicals. All-round this looks like an elite item, but will he be worth the pickup? 

For Chemstyle, the Hawk feels like the only right option here. Juice up the pace and shooting, as well as a boost to his physicals.

Overall, it’s 9 segments for this SBC with a price tag coming in at under 500k to complete. With the amount of packs available to grind, completing this SBC shouldn’t be an issue, and I certainly don’t think the price is a problem. It’ll all come down to how well he plays.

How did he perform in-game?

+ He's absolutely rapid on the ball due to that Rapid+; his ability to burst past players is incredibly effective when pressing down the wing.

+ Dribbling is also very slick and agile. But that's exactly what you would expect on a card with maxed-out 99 dribbling. 

+ Positionally, he was great. Pressed up constantly and made creative attacking runs that usually led to a goal.

+ Passing overall was good, made nice, quick and easy passes 

/ Shooting was fairly average but massively saved by the finesse shot playstyle plus.

 - Strength was the only downside to this card; he was forced off the ball fairly easily when coming up even against the mid-tier defenders

Antony - Cop or Flop?

This card has had an incredible boost. He’s absolutely solid in the attacking line-up and performed well in-game. The price, as well, is fairly decent for a 95-rated TOTS item. If you are yet to find yourself an elite-level attacker, this might just be the card for you. The only downsides I have with this item are that 5*/5* would have been nice, considering he had already been given a big boost. But otherwise, this card cannot be faulted, and if you had any doubts about completing this SBC, put your mind to rest and get this guy Copped!
