FC 25 96 End of Era Kevin De Bruyne Player Review!

Now we’re in Ultimate Team of The Season we won’t be seeing any new blue cards in packs, but it does mean this week will be filled with plenty of End of Era SBCs. To kick things off we’ve been treated to a 96 rated Kevin De Bruyne, the greatest player the Premier League has ever seen. 

End of Era cards do come with boosted chemistry but we suspect Kev won’t be the most difficult to link especially with TOTS cards being boosted too.

As soon as these cards were teased I think it was pretty clear that KDB was going to be involved. 10 years at Manchester City winning countless trophies, it was a no brainer to be expecting this. It’s the 2nd big De Bruyne SBC we’ve seen after his Flashback at Team of The Year, but how does one compare. The biggest standout being the upgrade from 2 PlayStyle+’s to a whopping 4! Long Ball and Finesse Shot+ have been added, alongside a tidy boost in stats. 

With passing already being perfect, the Hunter Chemistry Style seemed the obvious choice here! 

There are 17 segments to complete this SBC with a price tag of around 1.4 million coins. You can find all of the cheapest solutions here! The unlimited 82x20 will eventually grant you enough fodder for this KDB, but it will take a while!

How did he perform in-game?

+ The passing of the course was perfect. His incisive through balls found the attackers with ease and he was able to split the defence open with every through ball. 

+  Dribbling was also incredible, he glided past opponents like they weren’t even there and felt very smooth on the ball.  

+  His shooting is immense. If he was outside the box, the Finesse Shot+ always came in clutch, and the sheer power he gets behind the ball is enough to finish most chances inside the box. 

+  Pace was brilliant, we could really feel the difference that the addition of the rapid playstyle made!

- The price is the only issue with this card, there is an 82x20 grind but it is a very long process if you want all the fodder to complete KDB!

De Bruyne - Cop or Flop?

This is an elite tier item and one that will slot right into your team but for the price there are very similar items available on the market. It’s a Cop for now, but with plenty of End of Era cards on their way this week, maybe save your fodder and decide once Muller and Modric are here (potentially).
