DeanThe Fantasy Promo is here and with it has come some problems in regards to tradable players, yet again a bunch of them are extinct on release day due to odd price range selections... anyway I had no issues getting hold of Fantasy Werner as he's an SBC and an expensive one at that.
In past Ultimate Team's Werner has had some really good item's so I had high expectations for this review, before we continue we probably should mention the fact these are live items based off release world performances and below is how they can be upgraded.
This Werner item comes with some notable upgrades vs his previous item in the form of a 5-star weak foot and 2, YES 2! Playstyle+'s, Chip Shot and Power Shot. He also got a big boost to his physical stats which definitely deserves a mention.

This review is already getting quite long and we haven't even seen the team yet, Werner went straight into the lone striker role in the tried and trusted 4231 formation with the finisher chem style applied.
How did he perform in-game?
+ Pace, shocker. He is rapid, like both on and off the ball he is so quick, perfect on the counter he can be absolutely devastating when allowed a yard free.
+ Shooting, he really impressed infront of goal, the chip shot trait was incredibly useful given the amount of times he breakways in game. The 5-star weak foot also help him covert further chances, for most part he is a poacher but he also has that powershot ability which also him to score from anywhere when timed right.
+ Positioning, right place-right time kinda forward, and to be fair even if hes not in the right place he has the pace to make up for it.
- This is me being really picky here but I didn't want it to come across as this been a perfect card, he's definitely not the most complete forward his long passing is limited.
The item was also a really fun one to use which always helps.
Werner - Cop or Flop?
I've seen this SBC get a lot of down votes which I can understand given the price, but after using him I really don't think it's a bad price especially given the fact the item can get even better, The problem with having a series like cop or flop is you normally make a decision based on a card that will remain like that for the rest of the game but on this occasion it won't, so what I'll say is if you think this item can get at least 2 of the upgrades...I think it's worth it.
