The first round of Copa America games have finished and with it comes some very tidy upgrades. Plenty of debuts for +Chemistry although if any MYM cards want the 5 appearance boost they need to make the semi finals, as there are only 6 total matches for teams if they reach the final!

Group A 

Argentina - Alvarez, Enzo and De Paul (+1), Mac Allister (+Chemistry)

Canada - Davies (+1), Johnston (+Chemistry)

Chile - Suazo (+Chemistry)

Peru - N/A

Argentina have already secured their 2nd win and their spot in the Last 16, but no extra upgrades were confirmed last night. +1s for each PTG item and Mac Allister unlocks + Chemistry. He assisted in the opener meaning he’s just 1 G/A from an OVR Upgrade!  No appearances yet for Garnacho. Canada earned their first win of the competition against Chile in MD2, but we’ll sneak them in the MD1 upgrades alongside the + Chemistry for Johnston. 

Group B

Venezuela - Machis (+1), Cadiz (+Chemistry)

Mexico - Alvarez and Gimenez (+1), Sanchez, Vazquez (+Chemistry)

Jamaica - N/A

Ecuador - Minda, Pacho (+Chemistry)

There were 3 OVR upgrades in Group B as Venezuela and Mexico both got off to a winning start. Alvarez, Gimenez and Machis all earn a +1 with +Chemistry coming for players from Venezuela, Ecuador and Mexico. Jamaica’s only hopes of an upgrade rely on Michail Antonio’s PTG card as their only representative at Copa America. 

Group C

Uruguay - Forlan, Araujo and Bentancur (+1), Ugarte and Nunez (+Chemistry)

USA - Beasley, Balogun and Adams (+1), McKennie, Musah (+Chemistry)

Panama - Murillo (+Chemistry)

Bolivia - Villamil (+Chemistry)

+Chemistry upgrades for every nation in Group C with debuts all around in the opening game. These were the only upgrades for Panama and Bolivia as they’re yet to pick up any points. +1’s for Araujo, Bentancur, Adams and Balogun, upgrading them to 96’s and a 94! Some very tidy cards being added during this tournament! A goal for Darwin Nunez means he’s just 1 G/A away from a +1.

Group D

Colombia - Borja, Diaz (+1)

Brazil - Martinelli and Rodrygo (+Chemistry)

Costa Rica - N/A

Paraguay - Sosa (+Chemistry)

Despite being one of the favourites heading into the tournament, Brazil dropped points in their first match and just could not score past Costa Rica. Just +Chemistry upgrades for Martinelli and Rodrygo with Borja and Diaz being the only OVR upgrades from Group D.
